Assembly Manager with experience in a Consumer Goods Company

CCA Industries, Inc. a marketer of health and beauty aids, currently has a career opportunity for an experienced Assembly Manager.

 

This position requires an individual with assembly line management experience, preferably with a consumer goods company.  The responsibilities of this individual will include, but not limited to

 

· Establish guidelines for finishing lines.  Monitor quality standards and randomly inspect a sampling of all finished goods, deals and displays.

· Approve production work orders and prepare component transfer documents.  Verify counts of product and components. 

· Finalize daily production schedule for Assembly Department considering information regarding job availability, shipping requirements and production constraints. 

· Review and monitor line efficiencies and personnel usage to reduce costs.

· Maintain finishing rates and ensure that the shipping commitments are met.

· Inventory all parts from jobs, sort according to quality, tag and store these materials for make up orders or other disposition.  Monitor scrap materials and assure that the appropriate number of pieces can be completed according to the order.

· Train employees, monitor performance, maintain production rates, and assure a quality product.

· Five to ten years of experience working for a consumer goods company.
