Monster Cable Products, Inc. is currently looking for an administrative assistant with regulatory, compliance or document control experience.  Extensive experience in either of these areas is not mandatory but someone who’s handled report processes with documents that are required to be filed for regulatory purposes.  Must be detail oriented.

 

This position reports to the VP of Product Development as well as assists the engineering group with compliance-related issues that require experience in handling compliance and regulatory matters of business.

Administrative Assistant Job Description
This position supports the VP of Product Development in an administrative capacity. The position requirements for this role demand strong internal and external coordination and communication skills, strong calendar management as well as project management skills. This is a highly dynamic and fast paced company requiring an energetic, self-motivated professional. This person must be willing to do what it takes to get the job done, and is his right hand person.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
• Manage daily calendar with meetings, calls, & events
• Work closely with outside clients & assistants to plan for agreed-up deliverables
• Effectively coordinate & confirm all travel arrangements for the VP and ensure desired level of service is obtained
• Coordinate sales or CE events, meetings and seminars; duties include choosing locations, caterers, setting up the event and others as assigned
• Partner with other Executive Assistants and other administrative support to insure flawless execution of deliverables, events, meetings, etc.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all employees needing calendar time
• Communicate status, issues, and success to internal & external contacts
• Represent company in professional manner and manage & maintain healthy customer & client relationships through clear and consistent communication and timely responses
• Travel may be required for various meetings and tradeshows
• Follow-up on correspondence and emails
• Provide telephone support as needed
• Other general duties include but are not limited to: note taking, follow up, support with managing direct reports, expenses,  and other responsibilities as related to effectively supporting a Vice President.

• Internal and External Executives
• Senior Management
• Executive Assistants and CEO Support Team

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following experience or qualifications:
• Minimum high school degree or G.E.D
• Similar experience supporting senior level executive
• Event/schedule/meeting coordination experience is highly preferred
• Must be computer proficient on Microsoft Word and/or Mac, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must have excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
• Must be self-motivated and a quick learner
• Clerical skills including: phone etiquette, filing and computer proficient
• Valid driver’s license
• Fluent in English
• Discretion and confidentiality must be adhered to respecting budget, financial, and salary information
• Easy-going attitude, outgoing, ability to move forward without complete direction; team-player
