Territory Manager

The Territory Manager is responsible for the creative and aggressive sell of The Stanley Works products to Lumber and Hardware dealers, distributors and rental outlets in an assigned geographic territory.  

This challenging and rewarding position will require you to call on designated accounts within a region, manage strategic distributor partners, develop and maintain key relationships with end users, maximize the use of advertising and promotional programs with each account, analyze competitive activity, and deliver a sales plan.

Execution of wholesaler programs developed to pull product through dealers and provide market feedback to the organization are critical components of this position.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstration of solid interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office programs

• Ability to make quality decisions in a timely manner
• Team oriented with the ability to gain and encourage cooperation.
• Four year degree and some prior sales experience required
• Home Improvement / Tools / Hardware Industry experience
• Travel will be more than 80%
