Service Manager - Pool Service

Pool Service America is looking for an experienced Service Manager for the clean and balance side of its business.  An ideal candidate will have proven management capability, extensive experience caring for pools, an appreciation for the importance and value of proper training, and a positive “can do� attitude.  A candidate that lacks pool experience, but has proven management skills and the ability and desire to learn quickly, may be considered.  Enthusiasm, reliability, competency, and energy are all necessary attributes.

 

A Service Manager is responsible for managing a team of Service Technicians, including routing, hiring, training, counseling, and terminating.  Additionally, Service Managers communicate directly with customers to resolve any deficiencies immediately.

 

This position pays a generous salary of $36,400 per year.  Additionally, Service Managers are eligible for profit based and other bonuses.  Initially these bonuses should be expected to bring annualized income to the $40,000 to $50,000 range, but over a period of months, through successful management of the department, a successful Service Manager could realistically increase his income to the $60,000 per year range.

Position is +/- 55 hours per wk, Monday to Friday but with some weekends as necessary due to business needs.  Days begin early here, with a Service Manager needing to arrive without fail at 5:45 AM.  MUST pass criminal background and driving record check.
