We are looking for an energetic Sales Person with a proven record of accomplishment of selling and servicing General Contractors, Owner/Developers, Architects, Home Builders and Multifamily builders in the Tucson area.

 

The successful candidates will have a minimum of three years experience Cold Calling, Territory Development and Account Management in the following fields: building products, sub-contract services, or related industries serving the construction industry.  We desire entrepreneurial professionals who are excited and passionate about joining our driven team and working with similar professionals who believe in the company’s vision and promising future.  The successful candidates are individuals who take ownership of their customer and realize that a sale is not complete after the order is placed, but when the project has been completed with excellence and the customer becomes a raving fan.  We have a “work hard and play hardâ€� mindset - having fun is a key to our balanced culture. 

 

This position will also require the supervision and management of installation activities in the local market including recruitment, job start, inspection and completion.

Job Summary

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing existing accounts, developing new accounts inline with the region’s sales strategy, and building strong, working relationships from a corporate account level.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 Ultimate accountability in managing the customer base including relationships, service, profitability, problems, and account collections Develops and maintains a customer base capable of exceeding projected sales Markets core products to builders, architects, city municipalities, and developers through presentations, trade associations and functions, samples, and literature Effectively negotiates sales contracts utilizing company resources, i.e. estimated takeoffs, field measurements, the installation process, and manufacturing Manages installation functions in assigned service areaResponds to customer’s needs providing timely feedback regarding all sales related issues Has good knowledge of competitors pricing, design Conducts business respectively and maintains a respectable appearance Participates in periodic training sessions and cross training opportunities Works with management to improve marketing, product development, and service to customersInterfaces with Regional office for the purpose of scheduling, installing, billing and collecting customer ordersInterprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulationsImplements companywide installation procedures and best practices



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Carries out supervisory responsibilities from the field in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, safety and training installation employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
