Regional Trainer

Trainer (Regional)

MCS currently seeks experienced Trainers to support a large-scale training implementation; knowledge of Oracle or other ERP packages a plus. The Trainer role focuses on training and coaching of process, system (Oracle), and change-management curriculum. Trainers must be able to master the subject matter, evaluate effectiveness of the curriculum and work with Training Developers to ensure training is optimized.

Location

Regionally located onthe upper east coast with Daytona Beach, Florida, serving as the location of Train-the-Trainer. To deliver training, trainers will travel regionally


Position Summary

Develop and conduct training programs for employees by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Willingness to travel 90% of the time (during initial training period)

· Ability to facilitate training to various sized groups at various levels from executive to front-line employee

· Knowledge of or experience with adult learning

· Strong time-management skills; able to move a group through training material at a pace that accomplishes the learning objectives and keeps participants engaged

· Collaboration, and ability to become "trusted partner" to Super Users

· Positive outlook, flexibility, and adaptability to changing circumstances, or last-minute issues

· Self-sufficiency; ability to work remotely with limited supervision

· Delivery of full-day classroom training to groups of associates approximately 12-20 per classroom on the MCS curriculum; sessions will be co-delivered with one MCS Super User

· Providing feedback on the training content and delivery, and identifying ways to make training a sustainable part of the organization

· Working with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of which work situations require training and better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies

· Conducting training sessions on specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.

· Testing trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training

· Reporting on progress of employees under guidance during training periods

· Monitoring methods used by employees for shipping and inbound duties and making on the spot corrections

· Assisting employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their Division position

· Maintaining Participant Sign-In records and or Learning Management System tracking

· Developing strong relationship with all Division employees

· Facilitating feedback and communicating to management

Note: Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.


 


 Requirements
 

Education / Experience

·  Undergraduate degree in OD, Education, HR or related field

·  5+ years in a Training or Development role

·  3+ years platform training experience

· Experience with Oracle or other ERP package experience preferred
