Real Estate Development Manager

Encore Development LLC is currently seeking a Real Estate Development Manager to assist and coordinate with real estate acquisitions and development processes.  This position reports directly to the Vice President of Development.

The majority of our projects consist of retail, multi-family and hospitality (hotels).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maximize profitability of land and development projects by: Working with the development team to identify opportunities and maximize results. Spear heading the entitlement process on each project.Creating and developing site layouts through the use of AutoCAD.Developing project construction budgets and controlling costs through value engineering. Assisting in the collection of pertinent information as required by department standards.Nurturing profitability of each development. Maintaining effective growth strategies & processes. Assisting the company to surpass goals, profitability, and cash flow expectations. Ensuring the quality, feasibility, and profitability of all projects. Providing timely, accurate and complete reports as needed.Ensuring efficient and accurate transition of project documents to construction team.Supporting the construction team in permitting, bidding and any construction activities.


Ensure efficient and innovative performance by: Providing coordination and assistance in all levels of project development.Provide critical review for all developments to anticipate problems before they arise. Communicating with team members about different projects and status updates. Ensuring department goals, objectives, and strategies are achieved.


Successful candidate will have the following skill, education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, finance or related field and ten to fifteen years of commercial real estate development experience. A propensity for growing and developing a business in a fiscally prudent way. Strong construction and financial understanding and background. Applied negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven decision-making competence, based upon well-informed decisions. Exceptional interpersonal, relationship building, and oral/written communication skills. Familiar with how technology can be used to maximize business effectiveness. Proficient with MS Office, Excel, Power Point, Project, AutoCAD and Argus (desired).
