Plumbing Apprentice
Earn money while you learn a trade in the plumbing industry. High School diploma or GED required. Prior plumbing experience is helpful. After 90 days we provide uniforms and 70% of your health insurance. Sick days accumulate one per month up to 5 per year. Three vacation days after 6 months. Seven paid holidays a year. 401 K and life insurance available after 1 year.

We are a locally owned plumbing company with approximately 20 employees looking for hard working, honest and trustworthy individuals. Unable to hire anyone with a prior felony conviction, DWI/DUI, or poor driving record.  Herndon/McFarland Plumbing is a drug free workplace. Must have personal transportation to shop each day.

General work hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday with some overtime and weekend work as needed.
Â
Prior work experience of at least 2 years required (not necessarily plumbing).             Â
 Veterans may qualify for OJT benfits under the GI BIll.
