 Ransome Cat is currently seeking a Payroll Administrator for our Corporate Headquarters  in Bensalem, PA. 

Responsibilities:Insure that Ransome Cat employees are paid correctly and in a timely manner.  Maintain compliance with payroll-related tax filings and deadlines. Facilitate transfer of payroll data into financial general ledger system and reconcile appropriate accounts in general ledger for proper budgeting and analysis.  Maintain accurate and efficient record keeping. Address employee inquiries in a courteous and timely manner. Insure compliance with wage attachment orders and regulations. Coordinate with Ceridian (payroll system provider) on system upgrades and issues. Keep up-to-date on available training from Ceridian

Operational Functions:Enter employee payroll changes and review for accuracy. Enter and reconcile payroll hours from time sheets Transmit completed payroll for processing. Download and translate files from processed payroll. Review payroll reports for discrepancies or rejections and correct as necessary. Submit required information to third-party providers; CEFCU for credit union contributions. Process wage attachment payments to proper agencies. Process and file payroll tax reports and payments on weekly, monthly or quarterly basis as necessary. Perform payroll tax reconciliations on monthly or annual basis as necessary. Calculate and submit types and amounts of wire transfers to be processed by Accounting in a timely manner. Create monthly adjusting journal entries for checks, electronic funds transfers and expense accounts and submit to Accounting. Update employee advance reconciliation and provide to Accounting on monthly basis. Create monthly general ledger file, review and correct any fallouts and submit to Accounting for upload into general ledger system.  Make any further corrections to discrepancy accounts after upload has been completed. Maintain proper mapping setup to general ledger accounts in payroll system. Perform monthly reconciliation of payroll-related general ledger accounts. Act as liason between HR/Payroll Departments and Ceridian on system updates and upgrades, new system capabilities, security issues, available training and questions and issues from HR/Payroll. Respond to/resolve employee inquiries. Create/run/provide reports as needed for HR.

Skills Required:Strong communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and Word. Knowledge of payroll-related federal, state and local tax regulations. Proficiency in Ceridian HR/Payroll Web software.
