Office Manager / Cost Accountant to $65K

 

Due to growth, a national restaurant design firm seeks an Office Manager for their Cerritos, CA location.  In addition to designing and building many nationally recognized restaurants, the company supplies the necessary equipment (ovens, refrigeration, ventilation, etc…) for operating a restaurant.  We are looking for a real problem solver who can provide structure and leadership in all areas of office operations – accounting, project management and sales.  Someone who managed a construction office and was involved with project management would be an ideal candidate.

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but 5+ years of applicable experience may substituteStrong accounting skills (P&L and Job Cost Analysis,  AP, collections)Strong leadership and management skills (employee development, mentoring, discipline) Ability to take complete charge of and improve office operations – leadership by example Experience with Project Management (construction experience is ideal) – able to track project timelines and profitabilityExperience working with and supporting a sales team and possessing a “sales mindedâ€� attitudeHigh level communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)Strong computer skills (MS Word / Excel / QuickBooks)

 Duties: General breakdown of duties – 50% Accounting / 30% Office Operations / 15% Project Coordination / 5% SalesPerform branch office P&L and Job Cost Analysis of each project handled by the branchEnsure that sales staff and project managers adhere to project management policies and guidelinesBuild relationships with general contractors through phone, e-mail, and occasional local visitsDevelop and implement administrative procedures for office personnelCreate an environment of high accountability and high employee morale to enhance employee performance and customer satisfactionOversee project timelines and work with Project Administrators to address issues related to timely installation of projectRegular reporting on project status to upper managementAssist the sales staff in developing sales opportunities
