We are currently seeking a Mechanic for our Pacoima, CA division.

Job DescriptionResponsible for the maintenance and repair of company owned vehicles and equipmentRepairs ranging from minor (oil changes, tune-ups, etc.) to major (engine repairs, trans / clutches, fuel systems, electrical issues and hydraulic systems and sub systems) Responsible for preventative maintenance, discovering and resolving issues Duties will be performed at our various construction sites and at the division yardWill be responsible for all maintenance documentation

Job Skills/Qualifications:A minimum of two years hands on experience repairing various types of gas and diesel machinery. This should include small equipment (i.e. walk behind trenchers and tillers, etc.), larger equipment (i.e. ride-on trenchers, skip loaders, backhoes, etc.) and also over the road vehicles ranging from pick ups (gas and diesel) up to semi truck and trailersExperience with welding using a cutting torch a plusMust have a fairly extensive set of air and hand tools (a variety of specialty tools such as pullers, electrical meter, torque wrench, etc. is a plus)Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable DMV record that meets or exceeds the standards set forth in our Fleet PolicyMust have good communication skills and work well with othersMust be career oriented and a team playerNeed to be able to lift at least 50 lbs
