Everest University - Orange Park, Florida CampusReq#: 08 -0197General Duties: Provide students with the skills necessary to succeed in the electrical technology field Maintain a teaching assignment each module Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided to ensure course content and learning objectives are met Distribute a copy of the module calendar to all students at first class meeting Design, administer and grade examinations Actively maintain student retention by keeping accurate daily attendance records, calling absent students, recording absentee information in roster, and communicating any attendance concerns to the Program Chair or DOE Be available to advise, tutor and provide other student assistance as needed Requirements: Licensed electrician with at least 4 years? field experience with transformers, motors, generators, switchgears, and/or other equipment required to power homes, businesses, and industries Past experience in the field with electrical code, concept, professionalism, and hands on training pertaining to the electrical trade Ability to apply diverse teaching methods to students of various ages and learning styles Excellent customer service, organizational and motivational skills Strong team orientation Teaching experience a plus, but not required, will train We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefit package including a comprehensive healthcare program and a 401k plan.
