Installation and Service Technician
Job Purpose:
Serves customers by installing and servicing fireplaces, wood and pellet stoves, chimneys and hot tub systems and products

Duties and Expectations:
Â
* Must have valid drivers liscense
Â
* Must have experience working with others or being responsible for a co-worker
Â
* Must enjoy ladders and like heights.Â
Â
* Must be able to spend all day on the edge of a third or fourth story roof.
Â
* Must be able to complete necessary job paperwork, create invoices and collect money.
* Must be able to complete the service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
* Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.* Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.* Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; obtaining related certifications.
* Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
