Movers Specialty Service, Inc. is the nationwide leading provider of third party specialty moving and relocation services.  Our Local Operation teams provide Solutions on Demand for movers and relocating customers throughout the Tri-State area. Using company vehicles, MSS Service Technicians are dispatched to daily assignments serving private residences and businesses. House Hold Goods Technician Assistants will assist our experienced Lead Service Techs on daily truck routes, performing a variety of duties, including appliance disconnect and reconnect, crating and disassembly and/or reassembly of household goods such as swing sets, wall units, grandfather clocks, pool tables. This jobs also helps build custom crates as needed for such items as plasma TV's, marble or glass table tops, art work, antiques and other items requiring special handling during a move.

Requirements:

This job requires proficient and safe use of a wide variety of hand and power tools.  Basic knowledge of carpentry, electricity, and plumbing are needed.  Position will additionally serve as backup route driver and requires safe driving skills and valid driver’s license. High school diploma and some related experience or general technical training or know-how are required. Training will be provided in the safe use of all tools.

This position requires flexible scheduling and frequent overtime and Saturday hours!!!
