Drywall Project Manager
DPR Construction, Inc. is seeking a Drywall Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry for our San Diego region. Candidates must have at least 5 years experience managing commercial drywall projects, including specific experience working on OSHPD projects. This individual will be ultimately responsible for the day to day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk and business management of drywall projects.
Management will be of commercial drywall projects within our core markets: Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Biopharmaceutical and Corporate Office. Drywall Project Managers work closely with all members of the self performed work group, project teams, Project Executives and Regional Leadership teams. You would be responsible for the following:
Management of all project team members. 100% Detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scopes. Solid understanding of building processes and systems. Cost Control and Change Management. Complete understating of cost estimating, budgeting and forecasting. Key point of contact with project teams. Challenge & support jobsite and self performed work teams. Customer satisfaction. Continually improving DPR.
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:
Excellent listening skills and have strong communication skills. Ability to build rapport and relationships with our customers as well as our field crews. Significant OSHPD experience and knowledge. Ability to identify and resolve complex issues. Ability to create & support team morale and inspire positive development. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiar with On-Screen Take-off and Quick-Bid and a scheduling software (Primavera or similar). Have the ability to learn how to use our project management and accounting software. A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
