Director of Engineering / Drafting

Education:

Bachelorâ€™s degree preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

Degree alternate would be at least 10-15 years relevant industry experience.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years in Drafting and Engineering for a wood component manufacturer.

Must be an expert at drafting in Auto CAD and also some experience with 3D modeling. Must have experience with CAM programming preferably Alpha CAM.

Â

Abilities:

Work with designers from concept through production.

Manage a team of draftsmen to produce shop drawings, manufacturing documents, bill of materialsÂ and programs within a manufacturing schedule.

Approve all methods of construction being detailed by the drafting department.
