Commercial Construction Manager

Family oriented, excellent weather with many sunny days, world class beaches, incredible golf, wonderful restaurants, renowned entertainment, etc. makes it is a very desirable place to live and prosper.   Successful candidate must ensure that our HVAC & Plumbing services meet or exceed customer service requirements to enable our company to become the recognized leader in both safety and quality of all HVAC/Plumbing contractors in the coastal areas of South and North Carolina. Job Qualifications: Bachelor of Science - Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years experience managing HVAC and/or plumbing projects. 5+ years supervisory experience.Candidates must have sales and estimating experience, along with computer, people, and organizational skills. Previous field construction experience with commercial, retail and/or industrial work, a good work record and professional references are necessary. Job Duties:  Plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and cost parameters. Reviews project proposal to determine schedules. Ensures that all assigned personnel have been trained on safety regulations and all employees are adhering to the procedures and working safely. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project processes on schedule and within budget. Established work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges recruitment or assignment of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget. Prepares project status reports on periodic basis and makes schedule modifications as necessary Confers with project personnel to provide technical advise and to resolve problems. Evaluates the site supervision performance in his effectiveness in implementing and enforcing company management values.
