Business Development Representative

Position Overview

The Business Development Representative performs the essential functions of positioning information about our company, our solutions and programs, to prospective clients, as well as existing national and non-national clients. The goal of this position is to maximize additional revenue streams and profit centers, and additionally support the company's high standards of customer support and satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Manager of Marketing.



Essential Job Functions

Provides in the development, prospecting, and closing of new business from existing clients (national/non-national), and importantly new prospective clients.



Accountability on profit-center selling, such as internal programs, as well as additional future products and value-added applications and service offerings.



Maintains client history and the establishment and management of "next pending" scheduled activities within client database.



Ability to execute on instructions and pre-established policies and procedures in order to perform the essential requirements of the position.



Interface and work closely with the sales team in the development of call campaigns, especially by providing business market research and analysis of competitor initiatives.



Provide all associated reporting related to the job function requirements of the Business Development Representative.





Experience/Education

"Ideal" (2) years of solid inside sales experience. Desired experience of two (2) years within a commercial provider environment.



Minimum of four (4) years of client development telemarketing experience within the products or services marketplace.



Skills and experience in providing high-quality solutions sales to existing clients, as well as new prospects.
