Building Engineer
Local property Management Company is looking for experienced Building Engineer. The position offers excellent pay with vacation, 401K, health, dental &vision. Great work environment.
Our Building engineers work with tenants and staff to provide a comfortable safe working environment.
We are looking for you to help us:
Trouble shoot and repair electrical, plumbing, locks, HVAC.
The top candidate will be a jack of all trades licensed in some. Will be able to apply and coordinate our preventative maintenance programs
Who will oversee all building systems including elevator, fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues.
Responsibilities:Manage all facets of inspections and surveys, including energy audits and analysis, HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, elevators, environmental compliance, ADA compliance, acquisition and third party surveys. Respond to all emergency situations quickly such as fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc programs on an on-going basis. Engineering ProceduresIndoor air quality programsPreventative maintenance programsBudget operating costs estimates and comparisonsCompliance with life safety programs and procedures, to include EPA and OSHA compliance where applicable
You will also help us in:Assisting in the development /coordination of operational and mechanical training for building staff.
Evaluate and recommend building automation, energy management and automatic temperature control systems.
Evaluate contractor qualifications and make recommendations on vendor selection and project scope.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent, degree preferred.
Related work experience
Knowledge and understanding of all applicable practices/technique, and laws as they pertain to building systems and operations,
Local Operating Engineer's License or Trade License, Systems Maintenance HVAC or electrical license
Proficient computer skills; familiar with Energy Management Systems (EMS) programming and fire alarm systems.
Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
Proficient interpersonal skills.
Proficient oral and written communication skills.
