BUSINESS UNIT INSURANCE MANAGER

Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Unit Insurance Manager.

This position reports directly to Business Unit Sr. Manager in charge of Insurance and coordinate all efforts with the Structure Tone Organization Corporate Risk Management Department.

Primary Responsibilities: 1.Oversee the Local Business Unit’s Insurance Compliance at both Company and Subcontractor/Project Site level a)Maintain data integrity in CGC and potential future external reporting system (Surety2K). b)Work with estimating, purchasing and project team to monitor and effect all new projects awards, Purchase Orders both at project start and new awards during project life cycle c)Ensure corporate standards compliance with project team (PM/Supers) for approved certificates prior to work start by any subcontractor/vendor. d)Coordinate Subcontractor compliance, deviations and expiration reporting to management, field personnel and accounting. e)Work with Project Management (AE/PM) and estimating to obtain accurate project specific insurance requirements. f)Ensure that Business Unit minimum insurance requirements are upheld. g)Ensure that deviations from minimum requirements are reviewed and approved at appropriate authorization level – BU Management (Executive-In-Charge) h)Obtain STO project specific Certificates of Insurance and submit to Owner or Owner’s Representative and/or Building Owner as required i)Annual STO policy renewal – review all open projects and coordinate resubmission of updated Certificates of Insurance to Owners/Owners Representatives and/or Building Owner. j)Maintain project specific files for all Owner required Certificates in conjunction with project teams. k)Request special project related insurance policies and quotes from Corporate Risk Management Department. l)Work with Estimating to maintain accurate Subcontractor data base including address and insurance contact information. m)Obtain STO Hold Harmless Agreement from all new Subcontractors prior to start of work. n)Attend project team meeting(s) as necessary o)Attend Corporate Risk Management meetings as required

2.Maintain OCIP and CCIP tracking and STO compliance requirements for applicable projects a)Facilitate enrollment and external reporting requirements b)Attend project meetings as necessary c)Submit monthly OCIP and CCIP reports to Corporate Risk Management Department.

3.Builders Risk a)Assist Corporate Controller in obtaining Builders Risk quotes b)Assist Corporate Controller with Builders Risk tracking and reporting i)Maintain BR tracking reports for both Owner held and STO enrolled ii)Coordinate billing information and renewals for all STO policies with accounting iii)Submit monthly Business Unit and Corporate reports as required c)Obtain copies of all Owner held Builders Risk policies

4.Bonding a)Coordinate and assist BU Controller with compliance and reporting b)Manage posted Bond register and renewals/cancellations

5.Training a)Working with Business Unit Sr. Manager in charge of Insurance, evaluates BU insurance training needs and coordinates training sessions with Corporate Risk Management Department

6.Additional Responsibilities – Large Business Units a)Supervision of personnel assisting in administrative duties and data input b)Special projects as requested by Business Unit Sr. Manager in charge of Insurance and Corporate Risk Management Department
