Audio & Video Project Developer
Playback Audio & Video Creations is looking for a Project Developer for our Charlotte, NC office. The responsibilities of a Project Developer primarily involve working with custom home builders, designers, and architects to identify clients whom are building multi-million dollar homes and educating the clients to the technology available for these homes. Playback designs, sells, and installs high-end audio, video, and control systems that completely integrate all of the electronics in the home. This includes home theaters, lighting control, music, televisions, and home automation. The Project Developer works with potential clients to understand their needs, and then works with our engineers to design a system that will meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Throughout the duration of the project the Project Developer is responsible for coordinating with the architect, builder, designer and sub-contractors to make sure that every aspect of the project is executed as designed. The Project Developer is responsible for setting and documenting the expectations of the client and then ensuring that the other team members deliver as promised in a timely, professional manner. Experience in the Audio/Video industry or a construction related industry and a familiarity of the Charlotte market a plus.

Project Developers are compensated with both a salary and commission, along with company vehicle or car allowance, computer, and mobile phone. Company benefits include health and dental insurance, paid holidays and vacation, and 401K plan.Â
