Account Manager

InStar Services Group, a national disaster recovery and restoration company with offices located throughout the United States currently seeks an Account Manager for our Nashville (located in Madison, TN) market. The following combination of work experience and demonstrated skills will enable the right candidate to succeed in our team environment.

 

General Purpose of the Position: Manage the ongoing marketing and business development of a Region; to ensure its continued growth. Generate and follow up on leads generated from daily business.  Track activities of the estimators.  Target markets you are responsible for are Insurance Claims Professionals, (Adjusters, Agents, Brokers), Property Managers (REITS, Multi-Family, Commercial).


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage day to day call and sales reporting and submit weekly/monthly reports to Regional Marketing Director (RMD) and/or Branch Manager.

 

Attend weekly production meetings in office.

 

Submit all cost and budgets to RMD for prior approval.

 

Work with Office Manager and Estimators to facilitate getting bids, estimates and contracts to and from customers.

 

Book at least 8 appointments per week and fill in the remainder with cold calls from the IPN (Incident Paging Network)

 

Maintain positive working relationships with clients, employees, vendors, and strategic partners to ensure customer satisfaction (e.g. daily client visits, monthly luncheons and dinners, and scheduling and coordination of trade-shows)

 

Requires some travel to other “close by” markets.

 

Potential Catastrophe (CAT) duty in a large catastrophic event

 

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of five (5) years experience marketing and/or sales industry.

 

Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft applications (including Power Point), Outlook, and sales software (ex: RightNow!, ACT, etc.)

 

Background in sales and marketing; preferably within the industry.

 

High School Diploma, college degree preferred.
