Account Executive

The Account Executive will be responsible for achieving sales objectives with focus on Key Hospitals, Electrical Contractors, Architects and General Contractors within a specific geography. The Account Executive Position calls on the Hospital & Commercial Building Segments, including Colleges and Universities promoting Life/Safety Products that include Fire Alarm, Nurse-Call, CCTV, Access Control and Infant Security.



The person in this position:



Develops strong relationships with distributors and customers to achieve the sales plan in assigned territory. Performs professional product demonstrations and sales trainings.



Prepares and presents project proposals for customer base.



Interacts successfully with Engineering, Estimating, Insides Sales and IT Departments to ensure customer satisfaction.



Has the ability to think and respond strategically to new business opportunities with a demonstrated ability to prospect effectively and develop leads.



Has strong knowledge of sales methods, techniques and a demonstrated ability in execution of a market segmentation sales cycle.



Has strong project/account management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and proposals simultaneously.



Has strong Communication Skills.



Has an excellent Customer Service orientation.







The Account Executive must be a team player, along with the following:



Bachelors degree preferred but not required for the right candidate.



Previous outside selling experience.



Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills. Superior negotiation and relationship-building skills.



Solid computer skills using MS Office including PowerPoint presentations, Outlook, internet and account database management.
