Our regional location in Salt Lake City – just off I-215, near 201/W 21st South –  is growing and expanding.   Business is booming. AVI-SPL  seeks the right talent. Is it you?   Right now, we need: Audio Visual Installation Technicians –  Experienced & Entry Level Salt Lake City  Regional Office  BASIC REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: · Ability to think & work independently and meet necessary deadlines. · Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills; creative thinking. · Effective professional-level interaction with employees, customers and colleagues. · PC proficient – must already know your way around a computer...Word, Outlook, Excel  · Must be very familiar  with Audio Visual equipment, products, and systems.. · Must have a verifiable “clean” background.  We regularly work in highly secure locations. You will need to pass a rigorous background check.· Must possess a valid Drivers License; have and continue to maintain a safe driving record.QUALIFICATIONS for  positions: We prefer a formal education in Electronics or a related field.  Familiar with Audio Visual or other Electro-Mechanical installation techniques. We are looking for certifications – CTS... or  .... AMX .... or ...  Crestron Installation certification. Solid experience in Commercial Audio Visual installations will put you at the front of the preferred line. Projectors, screens, displays, wiring, cabling, computer controls, rack-building …. all of the complete AV equipment package. Or, good experience in the AV residential field – home theaters, structured wiring, Smart house designs. These are professional positions, for those who want to be in the professional level of the industry. Must be available for overnight travel – short and long term – we have assignments all over.. You’ll have to be versatile with powered hand tools.  You will need to supply some of your own tools, just like any competent craftsperson. Must be able to: use hand & power tools & test equipment; learn how to solder & crimp connections; pull cable; lift up to 75#, sometimes overhead; climb ladders/lifts to 35 feet+ Will have to possess a current Drivers License and a clean MVR.  We conduct a thorough background check including Drug screening. Installation Technicians · Have you run wire? -- pulled cable? -- done technical AV installations? · Do you have solid AV construction experience? Or Experience in Home Theater installations? · Or Security systems? or AudioVisual system installations? · Can you read schematics?
