We are looking to hire a --CIVIL--PROJECT ENGINEER I for our WALLINGFORD, CT office. The Wallingford Office of Metcalf & Eddy is a dynamic engineering environment with significant growth opportunities located conveniently between Boston and New York and near New Haven and Hartford, CT. There are challenging work opportunities for projects in this office as well as in support of our Boston and New York Offices however travel to these other offices is rare. Our needs are for a civil engineer with experience in civil/site design, water and sewer pipelines, and construction services. A project engineer works under the direction of a Project Manager to prepare studies and schedule, organize, and supervise staff engineers and technical design discipline engineers in the completion of studies and detailed designs for our municipal and industrial clients.Qualifications• BS degree in Civil Engineering, MS a plus• P.E. registration• 5-8+ years of experience in WATER/WASTEWATER TREATMENT, CIVIL/SITE DESIGN, SEWERS/PIPELINES, and CONSTRUCTION SERVICESBenefitsMETCALF & EDDY | AECOM employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes multiple health care options, educational assistance, retirement benefits including a stock purchase plan, as well as national and international opportunities for professional growth and development.
