Training Program Administrator (S07-06)
TIMET, a leading producer of titanium metal, is seeking a Training Program Administrator for its Henderson, Nevada facility (adjacent to Las Vegas). We are a manufacturing plant of approximately 575 employees with 24/7 operations. Excellent benefits including profit sharing program and 401k.
This position will be responsible for the development, coordination, and conducting of training. It will provide support of on-going and up-coming learning and training initiatives within the Henderson facility to develop effective training modules as requested.Mmaintain training records in the LMS System in SAP to ensure ISO, NADCAP, SOX, OSHA, Nevada CAPP, DOT and EPA RMP requirements.Provide verification of comprehension and operator qualifications in plant positions per State of Nevada requirementsCoordinate, schedule, manage, and report course attendance utilizing LMS and/or additional systems. Maintain appropriate tracking and reporting processes and training calendar. Oversee the coordination of the data entry of information by the Administrative Assistants in all departmentsCoordinate, reproduces (or manages reproduction of), organizes and updates all course documentation materialsMay update and maintain existing training documentation and documentation management system using MS Office Assist in development of or develops training independently with delivery of selected courses, as requiredConducts research on course contentInterviews and works closely with Henderson Plant Management and Human Resources in order to identify training requirements, time lines, and vendorsCoordinates all site training logistics working with local Human Resources or venue managers, as appropriateWork with Plant Management to develop systems to support efficient and effective training modulesCoordinate, update and develop new hire orientation for salaried and bargaining new hires to include but not limited to policy reviews, safety requirementsDevelop, coordinate, and update supervisory/management training for new supervisors/managers as well as seasoned supervisors/managers to include but not limited to Human Resources subject matters, such as Company policies, EEO, Affirmative Action, FMLA, supervisory skills, coaching, working with a diverse workforce, interviewing techniques, etc.
Education, skills and experience required:Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is required; Bachelor's degree preferred2 years' minimum experience, 3 - 5 years' preferred of related experienceSAP 4.6 or other ERP system to include one module and ideally a Learning Management SystemMS Office with excellent PowerPoint skillsKnowledge of OSHA, Nevada CAPP, DOT and EPA RMP requirements preferredAbility to think on feet and handle skeptical audiencesDemonstrate excellent written and verbal skillsAbility to exercise independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload, recommend changes in office practices and proceduresTakes initiative and a self-starterAbility to manage multiple projects or tasks at one time Excellent command of the English languageAbility to be detail-focused Highly organizedSeeks to positively influence and encourage othersPossess high degree of integrity and ability to keep confidentialitiesDemonstrate Team Behaviors and Ground rulesAble to work in/around a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
