Telecommunications Network Engineer

Hilti is seeking a high-energy, multi-task oriented individual for a Telecommuncations Network Engineer BASIC FUNCTION: Designs, implements, and troubleshoots telecommunications solutions (Contact Center, VoIP,IPT, Unified Messaging, Call Accounting) and related services at Hilti Corporate and remote offices domestic and abroad. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1.  Designs, implements, and troubleshoots Hilti Enterprise Network and Security solutions 2.  Supports all of the Hilti network user community. 3.  Ensures 99.99% uptime of all local area network resources. 4.  Manages network integration projects (team, schedule, and budget). Project teams may consist of numerous employees from Hilti and other vendors.  Job Requirements: Experience with design, installation, and maintenance of all Cisco switching and routing solutions for LAN and WAN. Expertise in routing protocols such as BGP and EIGRP. Expertise in TCP/IP and QoS implementation. Project Management abilities. Ability to resolve problems while maintaining a professional demeanor. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and team skills.
