The Company is headquartered in Solon, Ohio, USA, with a network of sales locations serving more than 25 countries and with manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide.  ERICO’s well-known brand names include: CADDY fixing and fasteners; CADWELD welded electrical connections; CRITEC surge protection devices; ERICO rail bonds; ERIFLEX low-voltage components; ERITECH lightning protection and grounding; and LENTON mechanical rebar splices.  For more information, visit www.erico.com. Primary Purpose of the Position To work with Mechanical Engineers, Consulting Engineers, Project Managers, and Designers to insure the ERICO and CADDY are in the Specifications and Drawings on all construction projects.  To work with all levels of design and estimating software products to insure that ERICO and CADDY are the preferred manufacturer within the programs.  To initiate an Engineer data base that can accurately track the projects and jobsites that have ERICO and CADDY within the Contract Documents.  To work with Mechanical Contractor Design Teams that specify products to insure that ERICO and CADDY are utilized as the preferred manufacturer. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Initiate contact and sales calls on Consulting and Design Engineers within the Mechanical Contracting Community for the purpose of educating, training, and changing the contract documents to make ERICO and CADDY the preferred manufacturer. Work with Mechanical Contractor Project Managers and Designers to facilitate the inclusion of ERICO and CADDY as the preferred manufacuturer of hangers and fasteners for all design/build projects. Work with software vendors and providers to insure that ERICO and CADDY are within the software systems for all design and specifying software as well as estimating software. Work with the CADDY Mechanical Sales team to coordinate all efforts to insure that current projects in all territories have ERICO and CADDY within the specifications and contract documents of identified pending projects.EducationBachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred) or Bachelor Degree in Construction Management (Mechanical Construction Management preferred) Experience3-5 years as a Mechanical Engineer working with a Engineer Design and Consulting firm.  Or 3-5 years working as a Project Manager/Estimator/Designer for a Mechanical Contractor Knowledge & Skills Basic math skills.  Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, pull, push, stand and squat.  Ability to communicate effectively with customer, associates and management.  Ability to be a self starter and detail oriented.  Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs.  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  *M/F/D/V encouraged to apply.
