We have a multi-year Job Order Contract with the U.S. Navy in Bremerton and other facilities and seek a Superintendent to join our project team. Scope of Responsibility: Primary responsibility is to direct the day-to-day field construction activities for multiple job site operations. Responsibilities include directing and supervising multiple subcontractors and providing quality control checks. Position Duties: • Supervise all activities related to the field. • Visit all jobs on regular basis to observe and assess the productivity, quality, safety, scheduling procedures and report to the SSR and PMs as needed. • Oversee the scheduling of each project. • Supervise, coordinate and schedule subcontractors and job site operations. • Monitor all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements for noise and dust control, non-interruption of client activities, and utility shutdown procedures. • Provide assistance to Site Safety, Health, and Substance Abuse Program to ensure the safety and well being of all personnel at the job sites. • Provide job site quality control checks to ensure the best possible product in accordance with the Quality Control Plan. • Oversee the preparation of accurate, detailed, written daily reports for each job. • Together with the Project Manager, prepare agenda and hold job progress meetings with subcontractors to coordinate project progress with minutes distributed to all parties. • Maintain communications with Project Manager to ensure proper coordination of the project among the on-site office, job site operations and subcontractors/suppliers for the project. . Minimum 7+ years experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractors. Should have considerable renovation type project experience. . Experience in supervising multiple subcontractors on multiple construction and repair projects . OSHA Safety Course Certification, Red Cross First Aid; and CPR Certification . QA/QC experience . Proficient in MS Project and Suretrack scheduling, MS Word, Excel and Outlook. . Ability toprioritize and work independently on multiple projects. .
