Strategic Account Manager - Water Resources

Overview: We are looking for a dynamic, aggressive, professional that is looking for a leadership position to develop and manage water resource (stormwater, consumptive and environmental permitting) projects on a regional basis. This is a rare opportunity with an existing technically advanced group, with a strong backlog and an excellent client base.

Responsibilities: Will assist in the leadership and development of the Water Resources team of up to 25 professionals. Typical responsibilities include marketing, procurement, contract negotiations, and technical execution of improvement projects, such as master planning and feasibility studies; design, permitting, preparation of plans and specifications. Project management responsibilities include forming project teams; communicating and ensuring project performance within allotted budgets and schedules; enforcing QA/QC measures; having the ability and willingness to provide mentorship and training to the junior staff; encouraging continuing education through attendance at and/or presenting at professional conferences; and making presentations to governmental bodies and the public at large as required.

Will lead or assist the technical execution of stormwater improvement, watershed management planning and roadway/site drainage projects. Specific tasks include stormwater quantity and quality modeling, GIS data development, water management system design, drainage investigations, client interaction, and permitting.


Qualifications: BSCE and a Florida Professional Engineering license (or ability to obtain within 6 months) with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience, including staff supervision and project management. Significant experience in areas of water management, master planning, drainage design, plans preparation and FDEP, ACOE and WMD permitting is required. Experience with water quality modeling and understanding of the NPDES and TMDL programs is desirable as is familiarity with the following software: ICPR, SWMM, Arc-GIS, AutoCAD and Microstation.
