Steel Detailer

Hillsdale Fabricators, an AISC certified fabricator and division of Alberici Constructors Inc., is seeking a qualified Steel Detailer for our St. Louis, Missouri location.

 

This individual will be responsible for preparing detail and erection drawings that comply with job specifications, reviewing and checking drawing dimensions for accuracy, preparing material list requisitions, investigating all connections to assure fabricated pieces can be erected, and assuring ample clearance is maintained in connections to install and tighten field bolts.

 

Candidates should possess a structural engineering degree and a minimum of 4 years experience with structural detailing.  Knowledge of X-steel or SDS-2 3D modeling software is preferred but other CAD drafting experience will be considered.
