80,000.00 - 125,000.00 USD /year Position Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Project/Program Management Sr. Project Manager - Healthcare  Job Description: Our client, a well-established construction firm, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for their Healthcare Group in Virginia Beach, VA.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: -Four year Construction Science/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.-15 - 20 years commercial construction experience with a minimum 7 - 10 years with significant healthcare/medical/laboratory construction and/or in related areas of similar complexity is preferred. -Requires an understanding of clinical practices, terminology, equipment planning and end user facility functions. -Conversant in Infectious Control and Interim Life Safety requirements. -Knowledge of AIA 2006 Healthcare regulations, LEEDs certifications, and being ASHE certified is highly desirable. -Extensive experience and knowledge of Commercial Construction estimating, means and methods, accounting, document administration and a thorough understanding of industry practices.-Excellent leadership, communication, computer and interpersonal skills.This is an excellent opportunity with a well established and respected firm in the area.
