Six Sigma Black Belt

HO Penn, the Caterpillar dealer for lower NY and all CT is seeking candidates for the position of 6 Sigma Black Belt.  This position can be based in any of our six branches (Poughkeepsie, NY, Bloomingburg, NY, Bronx, NY, Holtsville, NY, Newington, CT, Hartford, CT)  This is an exciting opportunity to join a growth oriented company with strong brand recognition.

 

This position is responsible for leading project teams to improve assigned critical business processes, building and training a successful project team, and ensuring successful implementation and sustainability of improved processes.  This position is also responsible for the effective multi-channel communication of 6 sigma projects throughout the organization.

 

 

Qualifications for this job include:

·  Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, minimum three years general business exp.,

·  Demonstrated Project Management Skills, Ability to Lead Teams and facilitate meetings, Excellent Communication  Skills, 

·  Must have computer skills and be proficient with MS Excel

·  Must have ability to learn and do statistical analysis

·  Significant branch travel required and must have a valid driver’s license

·  Individuals must be available to travel to Illinois once a month (for the period of 1 week at a time) for the first 4 months in the position.
