WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
You have at a minimum a Diploma or GED and (2) or more years experience as a Commercial Service or Project Electrician. You are a highly motivated, professional individual with exceptional verbal, written and organizational skills. You are customer-focused and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You must have a Journeyman License.
* You are reliable, on time, and courteous!
* You are highly productive and not afraid of doing service work and troubleshooting.
* You are able to lead and motivate others.
* You have experience working independently on commercial and industrial sites.
* You have a strong familiarity with the community, geographically, and can accurately read a detailed street map.
* You have a keen electrical sense to diagnose customer’s needs and suggest further improvements.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for:
*Layout, installation and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment
*Plan new or modified installations;
*Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment or follow drawings insuring wiring is installed before completion of future walls, floors and ceilings;
*Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit;
*Pull and terminate wire; complete work within an established time frame and in accordance with quality work standards and local and NEC;
*Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels;
*Repair faulty equipment or systems;
Desired Skills:
Experience with remodels, panels, service upgrades, dedicated circuits, lighting, troubleshooting, back-up power, EMT, Rigid, PVC, underground, transformers, motor controls, PLC’s, UPS, customer service, inventory control, reading blueprints and diagrams, training, running a service truck/crew, and safety. Experience with hospital and medical facility construction highly desirable.
