About the Company
Founded in 1981, as Total Energy Control Systems Inc., TEC was one of the first independent controls contractors to develop the capability to design and install Direct Digital Control Systems for its clients.
Virtually all of TEC’s work is derived from clientele in the New York Metropolitan Area. The company’s primary focus is on the “New Construction – Plan and Specifications Market” and its subsequent service opportunities. In addition we also provide Design/Build and Value Engineering assistance to Property Owners, Contractors, and Consulting Engineers.

TEC’s primary product offering is the Honeywell Building Automation Control line. Since 1997 TEC has been an Authorized Honeywell Automated Controls Integrator (ACI) which gives us entree to their highest level of product and technical support. T.E.C. has received the ACI of the Year Award by Honeywell several times, identifying us as the #1 independent dealer in the country. In addition to the Honeywell line, TEC offers solutions utilizing products manufactured by Echelon, American Auto Matrix, Allen-Bradley, and others. The company is a leading supplier of integrated solutions utilizing the LonWorks, BACnet, and Modbus communication protocols.

Help The Company be a leader in the Construction industry by acting as the Secretary/Administrative who enhances effectiveness; produces information; organizes work; completes requests; maintains customer confidence; prepares reports; secures information; maintains technical knowledge; contributes to team effort.

Qualifications:


Experience writing professional memos, preparing correspondence, and taking notes. •

Maintains inventory and equipment to ensure smooth office operation.•

Makes effective use of database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software to prepare statistical and written reports for management. •

Effectively maintains appointment schedules. Plans and schedules meetings, conferences, and travel.•

Ability to plan travel arrangements that take into account individual preferences, budget, and time constraints. •

Types proficiently (40+ WPM).•

Basic PC proficiency and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. •

Has effective organizational skills. Keeps files and work area organized.•

Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure. •

Demonstrates professionalism at all times.
