SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER (Refractory Systems)
Job Responsibilities: Proactively resolving potential problems in meeting customer expectations from a logistics and inventory perspective. Development of applicable Operations Planning models Transportation coordination and opportunities for improvement Improvement of inventory turns through monitoring of usage and lead-time performance Identification and disposition of slow moving inventories Sourcing of materials and resale items as required Development of relationships with key suppliers and supplier performance management Negotiation with suppliers as necessary
Qualifications:Â
BS degree in business related discipline or engineering, plus 5 plus years in manufacturing environment. Experience in Supply Chain, forecasting, inventory control, purchasing, Operations Planning models with working knowledge of financial concepts. Strong knowledge of lean enterprise principles as well as Microsoft Excel, and MRP functionality (preferably Visual).
