We are seeking a Risk Manager for our headquarters located in Tukwila, WA.

 

Summary:

The Risk Manager is charged with actively managing risk exposures to the business through contract review and negotiation, first and third-party accident/incident investigation, litigation management, a broad range of commercial insurance programs, supervision of the Risk Analyst, strategic planning and consultation to all levels of field personnel and management with regard to risk policies and safety initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Five years work experience in a risk management environment, with knowledge of insurance claims handling, policy language analysis, litigation management and safety programs.

 

Demonstrated ability to review a wide variety of contract documents, mark up changes to terms and conditions and negotiate with opposing legal representatives.

 

Must possess excellent written communication skills to be utilized in detailed reporting to senior management and legal correspondence.

 

Computer literacy with skills in spreadsheet and word processing applications (MS Word, Excel and Outlook).

 

Bachelor’s degree in business or related major, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

 

Construction industry background preferred.
