RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: Under general direction, works in concert with the Regional Installation OperationsManagers, Installation Managers and Systems Project Managers to ensure consistentdelivery of services and assure customer expectations are being met as well as internalfinancial commitments. Responsible for Systems major project business for trend analysisalong with recommendations on financial and business improvements (i.e. cost overrunsbillings, cashflow, revenue forecasts, re-estimates). Responsible for owning and maintainingthe SMART database tool. Proactively investigate forecasting and financial issues,recommending and implementing solutions where appropriate. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: 1. Proactively assists Regional Installation Operations Managers, Installation Managersand Systems Project Managers in taking necessary actions required to expediteconsistent delivery of services. Assures customer expectations are being met as wellas internal financial commitments.2. Provides operations and financial support for the Systems Ops Management Teamsand ensures completion of all phases of the installation process. Identifies issues andrecommends solutions to the appropriate Systems Ops Management level.3. Participates in monthly Systems Ops business review meetings by identifying criticalaccount information relative to current financial status, (re-estimates, billings,Accounts Receivable issues, revenue forecasts) and recommending solutions tocustomer satisfaction issues. Initiates research and follow up on account questionsidentified during monthly review meetings. Provides feedback to Systems OpsManagement Team, and Systems Project Managers as appropriate.4. Owns, maintains and ensures the integrity of the System Region’s SMART databasetool for purposes of forecasting and providing financial data. Analyzes and resolvesdiscrepancies within the database. Proactively investigates issues and followsthrough to produce results involving pre-entered costs, slippage, manpower leveling,revenue forecasts, etc. Proficient at furnishing custom reports through analysis of theSMART database and Advisor Financial Reporting System.5. Works in concert with the Regional Installation Operations Managers, InstallationManagers and Systems Project Managers in achieving expected financial results ofassigned projects. Focuses on providing customer satisfaction by taking action andgetting results while balancing project financial goals. 6. Produces the Systems business trend analysis along with recommendations onfinancial and business improvements regarding billings, cost overruns, cashflow, etc.Provides support for the Systems Ops Management Team with financial andbusiness-related issues, enhancing management’s ability to devote additional time toField and job related issues.7. Tracks, reports and analyzes subcontractor backlog levels for Systems Ops in order tooptimize subcontractors’ workload. Manages subcontractor certification processincluding training and safety requirements. Maintain subcontractor bond andinsurance information for major project business and provide bid managementsupport of subcontracts.8. Assesses the skill level of Systems Project Managers in the use of the InstallationInformation Systems (scheduling, re-estimating and billing) and all other WEB basedapplication, i.e. Subcontract Management System, Team Performance. Based on theneeds determined in the assessment, develops and facilitates the appropriate training.9. Proactively takes the initiative to identify, evaluate and resolve Systems Ops processrelated issues. Initiates action to limit negative outcomes and seek new opportunitiesfor improvements in the installation process. Prioritizes work activities based uponfinancial impact to desired business goals and outcomes.10. Optimizes installation processes and systems (IIS, AIM tools, critical accountinformation, etc.) to maximize Region profitability.11. Acts as liaison to the Shared Service Center for the Solutions/Service OpsOrganization.12. Acts as liaison to the Systems Ops Specialists in the branches to coordinate systemchanges, training, subcontract management, OCIP, prevailing wage and othercomplex contract related issues.13. Performs other responsibilities in support of the Systems Ops Management Team..
