Regional Field Technician

Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialized lighting and lighting systems. They design and create lighting systems for recreation and athletic fields. Seeking Regional Field Technicians for two locations in So Cal. Company pays ALL expenses incurred. Company will provide Van, equipment and tools.Will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on equipment and product. Communicate with customers both verbally and in written form. Service lighting projects, which will require working in aerial lifts at the top of lighting poles or climbing lighting poles or towers up to 200 ft.·Perform routine maintenance, repair, and inspection of product.·Coordination of time frames for vendors, equipment, and people resources for assigned projects.·Provide written field reports ·Project Management duties as assigned on projects to provide leadership to crew and coordinate issues with vendors and customers.·Installing electrical control products.Training held in various statesJob Specifications: Knowledge, skills and activities normally required for competent performance in the job. ·Basic electrical and mechanical experience·Excellent technical and problem solving ability.·Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.·Strong personal initiative and ability to work with little supervision. ·Will be based in the Company Sales Region, but extensive travel will be required both locally and to Western States on occasion, prox once a month.Education & Experience Requirements:·BA degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
