Regional Energy Business Line Manager - New York City - VICE PRESIDENT OFFICER DMJM Harris is looking to hire a REGIONAL BUSINESS LINE MANAGER VICE PRESIDENT OFFICER to work out of their NY City office. This position will be working for their Energy Services Group. The right candidate must have extensive and diverse experience in the energy services arena, strong business development skills as well as extensive experience in operating a profit and loss center.Job DescriptionThe Regional Business Line Manager is responsible for ensuring the success, collaboration and growth of the Business Line in his/her regions as well as achieving the Business Line operating plan and goals. The regional Business Line Leader is responsible to pposition the Business Line for a sustained and continues profitable growth consistent with the Strategic Plan. As such, the Regional Business Line Manager bears responsibility for providing leadership and general oversight of the Business Line and for identifying Business Line strategies, initiatives and significant growth opportunities, as well as the achievement of the financial objectives of each Business Line, and the recruiting, retaining, development, and mentoring of Key Business Line Personnel. Specific responsibilities include: Leadership and Strategic Direction· Create a forum for regional excellence consistent with our Purpose & Core Values of DMJM Harris and AECOM· Articulate vision for the Business Line· Advance the DMJM Harris & AECOM vision and mission· Champion career development· Develop strategic operation plan with Key Performance Indicators for the Business Line within the Region· Identify and act on changes in the business climate· Primary contact point for key Business Line Personnel and Project Managers · Encourage and develop succession plans · Communicate and encourage implementation of the Quality Management System · Foster inter-regional work load and staff sharingThought and industry leader in Energy Market Sector Business Development · Macro understanding of regional Business Line market and profitability trend · Ensure that Key Client Liaison Program is successfully implemented throughout Region· Play leadership role on key, major opportunities· Champion inter and intra company initiatives· Support and coordinate with Regional and Unit Operation Mangers to profitably grow the business· Support Business Line Coordination to leverage strengths Management· Work with the Regional and Unit Operations Managers to deliver business line key performance indicators within the Region (Wins, Bookings, Margin, New Business costs, Net New Business GOI)Work with the GBU to deliver financially successful projects · Manage Regional Business Line New Business, G& A and other Budgets· Identify/Track Project Pursuit List· Identify issues and ensure corrective measures BUSINESS LINE REPORTING STRUCTURE The Regional Business Line Manager reports to the National Business Line Leader MEASURES OF SUCCESS (ACCOUNTABILITY) Specific measures of success (accountability) include:· Achieving Region(s) Business Line Operating Plan and Goals· Position the Business Line for a sustained an continues profitable growth consistent with the Strategic Plan· Develop and deliver yearly/quarterly financial projections for the Business Line· Meet Regional Business Line Wins/Booking targets· Mentor and hold accountable Key Business Line Personnel to ensure:o Technical Quality o Profitability – Project Performance (SCMs, Overhead, Cash collection, Margin)o Measurable business development goalso Professional development of operation· Advance the strategic direction of the Regional Business Line· Supportive of Employee Engagement Strategies · Cooperation with other Market Sector Leaders
