Join our organization as a Wetout Quality Engineer in Bessemer, AL, Ocala, FL or Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, this individual will provide quality engineering and technical support to design and production, in the application of quality assurance tools, techniques, and processes. Lead breakthrough projects and continuous improvement initiatives leading to the elimination of defects and waste. This position has the potential for significant and measurable impact on profitability, customer satisfaction, productivity, and failure costs for its supported business units, and assumes significant responsibility for leading targeted efforts to reduce the total cost of quality and specifically, the cost of nonconformance.

The successful candidate will have skills and experience generally associated with the attainment of a 4-year Degree in engineering, technology, or other related fields, and a minimum of 3 years experience in quality assurance. Knowledge of statistical quality assurance and continuous improvement processes, tools, and applications is required. Specialized training or certification in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Statistical Process Control; Six Sigma; Lean Manufacturing (Toyota Manufacturing Systems);ISO 9000 / TS 16949; Technical / engineering, project coordination, communications, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Must be willing to travel up to 30%. EOE M/F/D/V
