Quality Control Technician
Precast Specialties Corp. of Abington, MA is an established precast concrete manufacturer specializing in the manufacture of architectural and site-work related concrete products. We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-pour and post-pour inspection to assure product conforms to specifications and production drawings.
- Responsible for preparation and testing of concrete test cylinders.
- Inspection and testing of incoming raw materials.
- Monitor and assist with batch plant operation to insure concrete quality.
- Maintenance of timely and accurate test and inspection records.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in concrete quality control, preferably in a precast concrete operation.
- ACI Field Technician Grade I
- NPCA certification is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand production drawings.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to accurately report and document inspections.
- Strong attention to detail.
