We are currently seeking a Project Manager-Performance Contracting to support our Raleigh office.

 

Summary

Manages all aspects of control projects, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for project execution while leading a team, to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame and with available resources.  Responsible for acquisition support and development of PACT Turnkey, scope development and pricing for customers.  Accountable for assigned projects' scope of work, schedule, and budget.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following.  Other functions may be assigned.Ability to establish strong teams utilizing both internal Brady personnel as well as external teammates.Ability to audit an existing mechanical system and recommend solutions to improve.Ability to understand construction methods/practices and communicate and direct subcontractors in an effort to obtain critical proposal information.Ability to use appropriate manner, personality, and outlook to effectively work with customers to solve their problems.  Selling skills a plus, but not necessary.Knowledgeable and skilled in Project Management and its processes.  Ability to recommend plans for staffing PM/CM locally on-site and oversee projects through construction.Assist and support all efforts of acquisition and customer satisfaction.Provide sound “business judgment.â€�  Weighing risk and reward in conjunction with the team.Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines.Ability to function in a team environment.

 

QualificationsFinancial budgeting, planning, administration, conflict resolution, and negotiation experience are required.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and proposals.

 

Education and/or ExperienceFour-year degree in Engineering, Technical or Business required, advance degree (MBA) desired.Systems/HVAC/Controls background.Minimum 3 years experience in owner-direct acquisition roles.Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.Minimum 7 years in Systems/HVAC/Controls industry.Minimum 1 year Performance Contracting experience.Leadership experience beneficial.
