Job Description:

Shall prepare project documentation for new construction, renovations and improvements for real property facilities
Will assist the base civil engineer staff with technical design reviews
Shall include reviews of drawings and specifications for all engineering disciplines for conformance to the project documents
Assist Design Working Group members in specialized for all engineering disciplines for conformance to the project documents.
Shall complete the investigative work to include user interviews, technical research, and site investigation to develop designs for projects that provide a cost effective solution to existing problems
Shall prepare construction cost estimates for designed projects using Means cost estimating tools and personal judgement
Shall attend pre-solicitation site visits; provide technical review and reponse to RFI's
Shall assist in evaluating cost proposals
Construction management services will include submittal reviews, site observations, and progress meetings attendance and documentation
Will assist in contract closeout with facility inspections, system start up, and coordination of operation and maintenance training

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 2 years demonstrated practical experience in Engineering with significant experience in managing military design and construction projects at military installations
Possess Army/Air National Guard experience/knowledge directly related to the requirements of the task order
Must have extensive working knowledge of Federal, DoD, Army and National Guard engineering regulations, instructions and technical letters and knowledge of the Federal and DoD Acquisition Regulations
