Project Engineer with P.E. Lake Okeechobee!

Bauer Foundation is in immediate need of an entry level Project Engineer with PE for a long term (10 yr) project on Lake Okeechobee, FL.



Project Engineer must have P.E. in Florida Job Description:

 

Job:  Lake Okeechobee, FL (10 yrs)

 

 



Project Engineer responsibilities include: Preparation / review of technical plans and reports

 

Interaction / meetings with clients and agencies 

 

Mentoring of junior and intermediate technical staff 

 

Preparation / review of specifications, bid documents, contracts

 

Obtain field data and document for review, analysis and evaluation

 

Construction management and oversight

 

Project management support

 

Provides technical assistance to the Project Manager and assists in the administration of the jobsite office

 

Initiates, write, distribute and logs jobsite correspondence.

 

Documents the jobsite safety program

 

Assists with estimating, take-offs, pricing

 

Monitors logs, change orders submittal and quantity surveys

 

Documents punch list work

 

Provides technical and administrative support to the APM and PM as needed

 

Provides technical assistance to the Project Manager and assists in the administration of the jobsite office

 

Monitors logs, change orders submittal and quantity surveys

 

Supporting the superintendent on project sites

work on all submittal, RFI's and change orders

 

 

Position Requirements: BS degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical

 

Professional Engineering (P.E.) certification in the state of Florida

in REQUIRED

 

Strong computer skills with MS Office, CAD, Access, internet,

email programs

 

Good organizational and writing skills



OSHA Training

 

Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Excellent documentation and organizational skills

 

A positive outlook and a team player



5 yrs prior Construction exp. plus





 

 

 

COMPENSATION

We offer an extremely competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $50 - $65K plus health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401K.
