We are currently showing a record work backlog, with several major projects on the horizon. PROJECT ENGINEER MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:· Assist the Project Manager with the management and execution of specific project related task Provide frequent project status and financial reporting to Project Management and Sales teams Analyze client/project documentation to determine all design criteria for multiple heat tracing technologies is met Assist the Project Manager to ensure timely invoicing for an assigned project and personally reviews Customer invoices. Ensures that all monies are collected in a timely manner Work to ensure that client expectations (both internal and external) are exceeded while resolving site engineering and construction issues Maintains timely communications and harmonious relationships between internal disciplines so that project details planned execution strategies and/or design revisions can be coordinated to minimize cost and delay throughout various phases of each project Establishes Customer relationships at appropriate level and manages his/her expectations relative to scope price and schedule. Captures scope change and effectively communicates this to the Customer in a timely manner COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:· Have the ability to gain in-depth knowledge of heat tracing technology and understand engineering and construction practices· A proven appreciation for, and a demonstrated capability in the application of advanced methods of data collection and technical data analysis· Posesses exceptional listening skills· Customer Focus – Is driven to meeting or exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers· Functional/Technical Skills – Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.  Knowledge and fluency in Microsoft Office (ie Word, Excel, etc)· Organized – Can marshal resources to get things done; can orchestrate multiple disciplines and technical activities at once to accomplish a goal; uses resources effectively and efficiently· Written Communication – Is able to articulate field related issues in written form  EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Required:  · Requires two years of college or technical school resulting in an Associate's degree or equivalent with an emphasis in construction or a related technical field.
