We are currently showing a record work backlog, with several major projects on the horizon. Primary Function: Perform cost and schedule tracking, analysis and reporting for engineering and construction projects.  Duties include estimate analysis, earned value reporting, change management, budget analysis and maintaining project schedules.  Responsibilities:Perform tasks required to develop and maintain budgets based upon estimate and Work Breakdown Structure. Maintain the Field Progressing Database to calculate material/work quantity requirements and perform weekly progress and productivity updates per cost account.Report weekly project forecasts utilizing materials installed to date and labor productivity.Interface/liaison with upper management, project management, engineering and construction departments on planning and scheduling related items and functions including reporting requirements, progress status, and new cost and schedule impacts.Support field supervision and project management through preparation and maintenance of budgets and forecasts; includes identifying potential overruns, forecasting, and change management.Prepare, update and issue master project schedules in Primavera P6 or MS Project from staff input.Skills/knowledge/qualifications/experience:Candidate will possess Industrial EPC electrical or piping experience and requires a 4 year degree, preferably in construction management, or equivalent combination of training and experience.  Candidate must have a strong drive for results and be able to multi-task in a high stress environment as well as to coordinate with various departments in accomplishing required projects and tasks.  Additional competencies include:· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Working knowledge of CPM and cost/scheduling techniques · Able to develop relationships with internal and external customers· Intermediate MS Excel and Primavera experience required, SAP preferred· Working field knowledge of construction projects and the ability to analyze weekly field progressing reports.  Send this Job to a Friend View all "Tyco" jobs Learn more about Tyco
