Job Description

Innovative Management Solutions is seeking a senior project controls specialist skilled in Primavera P6/P5 with oil exploration/engineering experience. The successful candidate will participate as a lead team member in supporting a key client to develop and maintain their EPC schedules, update costs and monitor budgets for a large scale, multi-year project. The candidate will build EPC Work Breakdown Structures, develop resource loaded, CPM schedules, obtain and record construction progress and actual costs and provide cost and schedule progress, earned value and forecast reports.

 

Position Qualifications

Candidate must have a background in schedule management and be able to execute with little or no supervision. Candidate must have in depth experience and expert skills using Primavera’s P5/P6. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, time management abilities and have strong project management knowledge.

 

Experience working as a senior project lead or project controls specialist /project analyst is required.  The Candidate must have 3-5 years experience using Primavera project management software; specifically a year or two with P5. However, P3e, Suretrak, Expedition/CM11, and/or InfoMaker are a plus. Strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills, especially Excel are required.

 

Education/Experience

Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree. PMP certification is highly desirable.
