LOCATION:

West Sacramento, CA

 

Primary Function:

Provide project and administrative support to the Project Manager.  Facilitate the planning, coordinating, scheduling of construction contracts to ensure that the goals and objectives of the projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

 

 

Typical Duties:

1. Assist Project Manager in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, and arranging for assignment of project personnel and equipment.

2. Prepare report, billings and statistical analysis per supervisor’s request.  Do research, development and/or interpretation of data and which is to be performed with little supervision or instruction.

3. Assist in the coordination of project personnel activities, material orders, and equipment management to insure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

4. Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., expense reports, travel requisitions, operating budgets, purchase orders, subcontracts, etc.,) per supervisor’s authorization.

5. Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

 

 

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:

Educational and experience requirements include:  High School Diploma, business college courses and typing courses, and three to five (3-5) years of business experience. Computer experience on windows, excel, PowerPoint and MS Word.

 

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate the knack to maintain pleasant working relationships, perform multiple tasks simultaneously and uphold the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism. Strong time management skills and task prioritization skills are essential to ensure that administrative support is timely and short turnaround times are met for multiple projects.
