Pre-Construction / Business Development Director

Successful, Growing and Dynamic Design Build Mechanical Contractor located in Santa Rosa, California and serving the North Bay area has an excellent opportunity for a Team Oriented Pre-Construction / Business Development Director.  Must be able to work with clients to provide accurate Conceptual Design and Budgeting for Commercial HVAC and Winery projects.  Will work with clients to provide design and cost options in order to meet the client’s needs and expectations. Must possess great customer relations skills.  Will need to possess the ability to take projects from the conceptual phase through the estimating, proposal, and sales closing phases. Must be able to develop and implement marketing strategies in order to grow our client base and maintain required sales volume goals.  The successful candidate will need a very strong understanding of HVAC systems and be capable of providing various practical engineering applications. Should be well versed in HVAC equipment selection and applications.  Should have a good understanding of mechanical contracting project management process, be able to hand off and work closely with Project Managers and Foremen throughout the duration of the project.  5-10 years of solid HVAC Design, Budgeting and Estimating experience is required; a mechanical engineering degree is a plus.
